Donation Options
Online Giving
Use our secure online donation system to easily make a general donation, in honour donation or an in memory donation.
Monthly Donation
Monthly giving is an easy way to donate. These donations are allocated to the home’s areas of greatest need but can also be directed to a specific area of funding if the donor wishes. Monthly donors will receive a tax receipt in January for the previous year.
In Celebration
If you are celebrating a special event or milestone, consider asking your guests to make donations to VLG in lieu of gifts or you can give a donation in lieu of guest favors. We can prepare a card for each guest which includes a personalized note.
In Honour/In Memory
Celebrate the life of a loved one or make a thoughtful gift in their name. It is a special way to show your thoughtfulness in the memory of someone you cared for, or honour someone special.
Gifts of Stock
VLG appreciatively accepts the donation of stocks. It is easy to transfer your shares directly to VLG from your brokerage account. VLG sells the shares immediately after receiving them and a receipt will be issued for the full market value of the shares on the day of the transfer.
